Test sample I did for IDW's "I am Optimus Prime" children's book.

I wasn't picked as the artist. Hasbro went with the more "Robot Hero" look. This [link] was also sent in as the sample.

Artwork was done in Sketchbook Pro and colored in PaintTool SAI.

It's reminiscent of the Animated style, but G1 Optimus is just awesome however he looks.
